Carlo: Yes, I do. I’m preparing to backpack through Europe.

Emma: Oh, really? You really like taking risks.

Carlo: Of course. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Situation2

Chris: My dream is to emigrate to Canada in the future. I don’t know if I can do it, though.

Abby: Why would you say that?

Chris: I am scared. I don’t know anybody there.

Abby: Have confidence. Always remember this, “nothing ventured, nothing gained.”
